Summer is upon us in Cape Town with steaming temperatures and clear blue skies! But, also last week, the school year started!!
Our kids were excited, thank goodness, as not everyone enjoys the beginning of school. Bright Start is feeling extremely grateful, as we have seven new Grade 1s and four new High School students. What an achievement! These will be the first high schoolers, Bright Start has ever been supporting!
For the Grade 1s, the new school, Kronendal is just across the road from their Pre-Primary. It makes things easy, they know the teachers, the classrooms and the grounds. Bright Start also knows the school and the teachers very well! Good luck to Naeemah Qama, Ave, Praise, Cole, Athandile and Tristan!
The four High School students are spread out in new schools in new areas. Good luck to Athi, Martino, Avu and Nicky! For Bright Start as well, there will be new relationships with two of the schools, although we are so thankful at how well-received we have been! Wish them luck as they enter a more serious and demanding environment.
If you want to find out more about any of these children, please let us know!
Good Luck to All the children!!
